MTB Outlaws

MTB Outlaws is a mountain biking community based in the East Midlands, UK. We host regular rides for all abilities, plus away days and dedicated mountain biking holidays. See the highlights on our Facebook page or our photo archive (snaps).

MTB Outlaws core values and beliefs

  • Health and well-being
  • Inclusion
  • Respect

MTB Outlaws exists to service the community, not just the saddle-sore among us, but our local and wider communities. We prize healthy living and the well-being of our riders and our communities above all else. We preach inclusion and praise respect. MTB Outlaws have something for everyone. You don’t need to own a bike to ride with us!

Our history

The MTB Outlaws was formed in 2015, and originally included the title, ‘Notts’ in the name. As the club grew, it was agreed that the Outlaws were no longer capped to Nottingham or indeed, the Midlands. Our members are now nationwide and even international. Aloha to our MTB cousins overseas!

MTB Outlaw Heritage

We take our name from the legend of Robin Hood and his outlaw brethren. While we don’t rob from the rich, we’re dedicated to supporting our local communities. If you analyse our logo, you’ll see Robin’s arrows piercing the skull of an undead rider. We live to ride, and ride to live… Ride till we die!

At the end of the day we’re in this because we love exploring the great outdoors by way of mountain bike. Come join us, you won’t be disappointed.
