Supporting MTB Outlaws and the Local Community

MTB Outlaws is ultimately managed by volunteers. Our site and social media managers are volunteers and our ride leaders are volunteers too. We generate some revenue from merchandise sales but we rely heavily on donations from our sponsors. Whether it’s spare parts, financial investment or other support, there’s always a way you can help. To make a financial contribution to the club, please click here (this link will take you to our PayPal donations page).

If you would like to learn more about how we operate and how you could help, please contact us via the contact form – click here (use the subject line ‘I’d like to learn more’).

We’re extremely grateful for your continued support and generosity.

Kind regards and thanks,

MTB Outlaws

Supporting the Air Ambulance

This year we launched a campaign to support Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance via our JustGiving page. Across July and into August, we asked riders and supporters to donate what they could to help this fantastic cause. To date (mid August 22) we have raised over £700 through small individual donations. We held a raffle too and received prize donations from the riding community and our club sponsors. Many happy riders and some fantastic memories. A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported our efforts.

MTB Outlaws Christmas Charity Ride and Raffle

This Christmas (2021) we held a charity ride and raffle supporting Faith in Families (now Adoption focus). Donations were collected from our sponsors and community partners in addition to donations made by members of the mountain biking community. Twenty-three riders attended our Christmas ride and through our combined efforts we raised £500! Special thanks to all those named and anonymous donors and to our community sponsors, CycleFixed, Sherwood Pines Cycles, Voltz, Newark Cycles and BTST Osteopathy and Sports Clinic.

Supporting Derby Mountain Rescue Team

In addition to promoting healthy living and lifestyle through the pursuit of mountain biking, MTB Outlaws also support local and national charities with fundraising and charity sales. Here’s a snapshot of our recent bike sale supporting Derby Mountain Rescue Team. Working collaboratively with local independent bike shops, we restored this bike (a donation from one of our riders) and sold it via charity auction. We raised £90 for Derby Mountain Rescue.
