MTB Outlaws Community membership (FREE)

Riding with MTB Outlaws is FREE. You can attend as many events and socials as you like and never pay a penny if you won’t want to. We do encourage all riders to purchase a membership pack which helps run the club (primarily health and safety equipment and training) however this is 100% elective. We are a non-profit organisation so we rely on merchandise sales and support from our Sponsors. Membership packs are £25 which includes our trail jersey and discount card. – accepted widely across the UK – click here to see all the goodies.

All you need to do to ride is register using the form below and find the next event that suits you. All events are shared on our community Facebook page and WhatsApp groups. Please register before your first ride.

What do we spend money on?

All proceeds go to the club and simply help run the club. Annual costs like Cycling UK membership, this includes our rider leader protection, the cost of health and safety equipment like radios, first aid supplies, bike maintenance and repair essentials like tube patches, C02 canisters and chain links that our leaders carry to help riders and subsidised training. We also sell items separately – visit our shop for groovy products.

Discount cards last one year so we encourage riders to renew these to help support the club. It’s basically £10 for the year (for renewals).

(We refer to Sherwood Pines trail centre colour graded routes) Little to no experience: limited riding experience, comfortable on 2-5 miles, relatively flat, no obstacles. Novice: GREEN trails, fire roads, some gravel, bridleway, National Cycle route. Intermediate: Blue to Red - mild technical ability, comfortable on uneven ground, roots and singletrack but not jumps or drops. Expert: Can complete red trails with ease. Unmarked trails, off-piste, trail centre rock gardens, table-top or gap jumps (not much you can't handle) We reference GREEN/BLUE/RED Sherwood Pines marked trails. Off-piste means unmarked trails, typically isolated singletrack.
